Home Design & Architectural Experience:
My passion for design and the building industry began at a young age. I loved accompanying my father to his various jobs, whether it was installing garage doors, re-roofing, re-siding homes, framing remodels, or helping him paint new additions. This early exposure sparked my interest in building, leading me to take CAD classes in high school, which deepened my love for home design. After high school, I pursued a degree in Architectural Technology at St. Cloud Technical and Community College, where I mastered drafting software, building codes, and estimating.
During college, I began designing new homes part-time, and after graduation, I transitioned to full-time design work. Over the past 8+ years, I've gained hands-on experience in designing a wide range of projects for homeowners and builders. These projects have ranged from small decks and screen porch additions to partial and full home renovations, as well as homes from 900 to 10,000+ square feet, and even some small commercial remodels.
No matter the size of the project, I treat each one as if it were my own. I listen closely to my clients' wants, needs, and dreams, and work with them to bring their vision to life. Blueprint Design Co. was established with a passion for making your dream home or project a reality. I will be there for you, not just through the design process, but throughout the build as well.
About Me, Mariah Klaers
My family and I live on a charming hobby farm, where we care for two dogs, a variety of chickens, ducks, bees, and maintain a large garden. Our days are filled with endless home improvement projects that keep us busy and fulfilled. When we're not working, we cherish our family time - whether it's doing chores together, taking long walks with the pups, spending time at the park, or embarking on outdoor adventures. We love soaking up every moment we can in nature!
